I'm no conservative but there's a lot of truth in this I think.

Discuss.

"Or are you perhaps taking one set of figures in isolation."

He's talking about the latter in isolation @ 0.6% for the last Quarter just published for figures to March. It was previously 0% to the December quarter & almost no growth for the previous 2 years.

Think Germany's to March showed 0.3% increase , Spain 0.9% & Cyprus showed 1.9% & I believe.

' even France has double our growth.'

Do you have some figures the rest of the world is not privy to? Or are you perhaps taking one set of figures in isolation.

I find the left wing hate and abuse against Tory voters on social media incredible.

So many Tory voters this time are proper old school Labour but hated the idea of the SNP having a say. Some will disagree with Tory policies but believe a healthy economy is the most important thing. Some will just be voting for the only candidate who actually LIVES in their constituency. There are many other examples like this. Nothing is simple.

We vote for our local MP in this country, NOT for our Prime Minister. This isnt the USA. Just because Cameron is a cunt shouldn't stop someone voting Tory etc.

To make such naive sweeping generalisations about a person solely based on voting Tory I find pathetic. As is the utterly stupid stereotyping of Tories as toffs/champagne charlies/xenophobes/heartless bastards, just as saying a Labour voter is a workshy, lower class benefit scrounging northern soap dodger.

Add that to the fact that we live in a democracy where sometimes you dont get what you want. Yet the lefties just throw their toys out of the pram going around tarring every Tory voter with the same brush.

To pigeonhole and stereotype people based on the party of the candidate they voted for is just ridiculous IMHO.

They are all as bad as each other as far as Im concerned, but to put it simply, to me, if we have money we can do stuff and help people. I just couldnt see the economy improve with with Milliband.

The reaction of the FTSE and pound upon the result surely just confirms this.

I didn't say you did.

I was making a point about your failing to grasp the fundamentals of democracy.

As per, my point has completely flown over your mong head

Try thinking before you post ffs.

I voted conservative. But if I was selfish I would've voted labour as I could do with the pound being weaker, personally it would help my business. However my strategy if labour got in was sell my house, move in to rented and wait for the inevitable crash and then buy.

That's how much faith I have in them

Blimey mentor for a nationalist you do seem to have a lot of contempt for fellow Englishmen.

Its true, thick Northerners are gradually waking up and smelling the coffee, but its not the Tories they are turning to.

At least he's voting for a party who respect us enough to give us a choice.

Labour think we're too thick to.

Although you probably agree with that as you don't seem to be a fan of democracy.

Labour won't win next time if they carry on implying voters are stupid or evil for voting conservative.

My mate voted Tory and is now moaning about the forthcoming EU referendum as his business relies on us being in it, apparently.
The denseness of some people never ceases to amaze me.

I voted for the Conservatives and I'm certainly not rich (not poor either though)...

I'd like to think that I'm not stupid either, although I'm no Einstein, so I think that I'm ruled-out of that one as well...

I buy goods off of foreign-looking/sounding people as well as chat to them - so I don't think that I'm a racist either...

Still, I must be all these things as I voted for the Tories?...

Oh, well...

And a lot of people only voted (and probably only support) Labour as a "protest" against the evil Tories.

Tories still won.

Re: "Shy Tories". Interesting article this.
We had a chat at work about voting Tory.

Quite a few of them did it as a protest about the significance of SNP in English politics rather than a pro tory sentiment.

"So only rich people vote conservative?

The things you learn on here."

Nope, allegedly you apparently can also qualify by being racist , homophobic, uncaring, xenophobic, callous, uncaring & stupid.

Basically, a well written CV to become a qualified guard at a concentration camp.
